With the worst record in their division the Houston Rockets will be missing the playoffs this year. This is a team that is dire need of a total overhaul is they wish to compete, much less make the playoffs. Yao Ming have become the Bob Sander of the NBA, he has great skills, but he is injured far too often to make a real impact.
The Houston Rockets, Playoffs A Long Way Off.
The Rockets don’t have trouble putting points on the board, they get great production from every member of the team, however the Rockets simply do not know how to play defense. They can not hold a lead, and that is the biggest factor that is holding the team back right now.

The first priority for Houston should be finding a replacement for Yao Ming. Once he has completed rehab on his strained tendon, the Rockets should still be able to shop him around and get some kind of value for him. While injuries have hampered him, most teams will still remember that he has an elite skill set which can boost any teams roster, provided he can stay healthy. Pistons far from playoff land in 2011

March 13th, 2011

The Detroit Pistons have a lot of rebuilding to do. They have a lot of turmoil right now throughout that organization. They will not be making the playoffs. A person who should be an on the floor leader and veteran like Richard Hamilton has been most vocal about his displeasure with the current structure of the Detroit Pistons organization. Richard Hamilton should have demanded a trade if he was going to take the time to belittle the coaching staff as much as he has.
Pistons far from playoff land in 2011
They actually have a lot of talent on the Pistons roster. Even a young guy like Austin Daye out of Gonzaga can be a serious big man in the NBA in most situations. You do also want to make a note of the high energy nature of the play of Jason Maxiel. Maxiel is an extremely talented and capable big man, but it is disappointing that a guy like this can not participate on a playoff team.

Ben Gordon and Charlie Vilaneuva are two very talented players who have big contract guys, but they also need the right guy to be there

Chris Bosh nodded back and forth, unsure how the Heat just continue to keep on winning on the road. This occasion it had been because Bosh brought it during a large way late, just like somebody always has whenever the sizzling Heat required it within their twelve game road winning streak. Leading the Heat during a 101 – 95 extra time win against the Bucks on Friday, Bosh got sixteen points & twelve boards.

The Heat have picked up a victory 8 consecutive & 20 of their previous twenty-one following a 9 – 8 beginning, however this has been by far 1 of the wins with the most character Miami have played as they come closer to the 1971 – 1972 Lakers’ record run of sixteen straight road wins. they’d tie the record if Read the rest of this entry »
